This book is a "how-to-" guide which presents a practical
approach to OMT (object-modeling techniques), the methodology
made popularity by Jim Rumbaugh. It shows how to apply it in
a step-by-step fashion using a comprehensive case study of a
business application (a filing problem). All modeling is done
in both C++ and SmallTalk. The book will contain a disk with
complete C++ and SmallTalk code showing the case
implementation. It will show how the code is wrapped into the
model and how it can be extended.
