I eat whatever makes me feel good, even when I realize that it's not the best food. I would choose a burger, fries, and a soda any day over broiled fish, salad, pasta, and milk.
For me, there's no relationship between what I eat and how I feel.
With so much to do at school and at home, I tend to eat on the run. I can't remember the last time I had a leisurely meal with my friends or family.
I pay attention to news reports about food and nutrition and try to adjust my diet to keep myself in good health.
Making sure I've received all my immunizations and keeping them up to date is part of what I do to stay healthy.
With so much to do, I can't fit exercise into my daily routine. With all my school work, a part-time job, and a family, it's just not a priority.
Men and women have some different health issues that may affect their choice of exercise. For example, osteoporosis (the thinning of the bones) is primarily a woman's issue while heart attacks tend to affect men more than women.
When I exercise, I always try to be faster and better than anyone else. It's not about being fit, it's about winning.
There's a huge relationship between how well I handle stress and how my body feels.
Stress is a part of everyone's life. My goal is not to get rid of it, but to handle it better.
I believe there's nothing I can do about the stresses in my life, so I don't try to fix them. For example, when I have three research papers due on the same day, I feel like a wreck inside. I would never consider talking to my teachers about the conflict.
The stresses in college can bring out emotional problems like depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
It's okay for me to binge drink since I'm in good health.
Most heavy smokers who believe they can quit smoking at any time are fooling themselves.
I have no idea why doctors are so upset about the upswing in teen smoking. It's silly to think that what people do in their teens and twenties may affect their health when they're older.
Marijuana relaxes me and helps me deal with stress, so I use it even though it affects my judgment and ability to study.
Parents are hypocrites about alcohol and drugs. They weren't pure when they were in college, but they expect us to tow the line. I don't see any reason to listen to them
The decision to abuse alcohol or drugs is personal, involving no one but the abuser. Saying it affects family and friends is just society's way of making me feel guilty.
People who grew up in the 60's and 70's believed in free love. Nothing has changed since then.
If I'm not a drug abuser or in other high-risk group, I don't have to worry about catching the HIV virus that leads to AIDS. If my partner and I use a condom, we'll be 100 percent safe.
There's nothing to worry about even if I catch the HIV virus, since there are all kinds of medicines to deal with the problem.
Birth control is always the woman's responsibility.
Everyone is too sensitive these days. There's nothing wrong with a guy whistling at a girl or commenting about her body, even if she asks him to stop.
Date rape can leave lasting psychological and physical scars, even if it happens just once.
My behavior with sex, drugs, alcohol, and tobacco reflect my personal values.
