Communication Disorders & Hearing Sciences:
Education for Today's Student and Clinician

Meet Allyson P. Sharp

Having started my publishing career with Prentice Hall/Merrill Education over a decade ago as a field representative and now as an editor, I am thrilled to be developing the Communication Disorders and Hearing Sciences list for the company. It is our goal to create, develop, and publish the Communication Disorders and Hearing Sciences list with your input and with the careful integration of empirical-validated research, practical applications, and meaningful technology in response to the needs of today's professors and students of communication disorders and hearing sciences.

We encourage you to become an Author or Reviewer in order to be on the forefront in creating top products designed for the evolving roles of today's Speech Language Pathologist and Audiologist.Ý If you join our team, your work will be represented across the globe by the largest and most successful sales organization in the industry. My colleagues in Sales and Marketing are uniquely committed to the Editorial process and are eager to partner with me to recruit and sign promising authors--as we publish and promote--fully integrated communication disorder and hearing sciences books and supporting products.

Please consider my invitation to write with us by reviewing the Books Wanted List and then review the Guidelines for Submitting a Proposal. If you are interested in discussing any of these publishing opportunities further, please do not hesitate to e-mail me or call me at 708.366.8354.

Finally, we are eager to meet with you face to face! If you are attending the ASHA Convention in November, please contact me to schedule a meeting to discuss your ideas or stop by the booth to see our new line of products, also on this website.
