Will Car PC's become as common as car stereos?

A September, 1999 New York Times article quotes a marketing specialist as saying, "Commuting in your car is the last piece of unconstructed time left. ....It is a huge untapped market for connectivity and productivity." The
article goes on to discuss a number of uses of PC's and computerized devices in cars.
Questions:
- Identify uses of PC's that are mentioned in this article and that might become common in the future.
- Explain how voice input and output could be important when drivers use PC's.
- Assume that the Highway Safety Board is considering a proposal banning PC's in cars based on safety considerations. Suggest some of the possible arguments favoring and opposing the motion.
