The Dallas/Fort Worth area police needed a tool to track gang activities. The Keller Police Department developed a gang data system that can be shared by police agencies throughout Texas.

Questions:

  1. Describe the database using an entity-relationship diagram. Identify the specific information in the database.

  2. Explain how the database is updated and how its accuracy is ensured.

  3. Explain why you do or do not believe that maintaining this type of database infringes on the privacy of the gang members or anyone else whose information is included.
