The file available for download below
is an executable patch for the Windows 2000 operating system program
used in conjunction with the Learn Office 2000 series. This file represents
a solution to the font issue that occurs when Learn Office 2000 series
is installed on a Windows 2000 operating system.
First, download this patch and by double
clicking this active file and saving it to your hard drive.
w2kpatch.exe
(this is the file link)
To install and run this patch effectively,
please install one of the original Learn Office 2000 series titles (Learn
Office 2000, Learn Access 2000, Learn Excel 2000, Learn PowerPoint 2000,
or Learn Word 2000) onto a Windows 2000 operating system. Before the
patch is installed, the font displayed in the text bubbles of our OnDemand
product will appear too small to read.
With OnDemand closed, please navigate
to the location of the w2kpatch.exe. Double click the executable file
and accept all of the default prompts for the installation wizard. Once
the patch installation has been completed, the font in the text bubbles
should appear at a normal, readable size.
Please note that if the Learn Office
2000 series content is uninstalled from the hard drive, the patch will
also be automatically uninstalled at that time.
Also, it is not necessary to use this
patch on the Learn Windows 2000 title. The solution for that title has
been built directly into the install.
