| Dr. Larry Long (llong@arkansasusa.com) is an author, lecturer, consultant, and educator in the computer and information services fields. His books (over 30) have been used in more than 800 colleges throughout the world, and his self-paced courses serve as the mainstay for computer literacy in hundreds of companies. Larry has been actively involved in the development of educational software and interactive multimedia learning resources for over a decade. He has over 25 years of classroom experience at three universities (Lehigh, Oklahoma, and Arkansas) and has lectured and given seminars throughout the United States and the world. Larry has served as a consultant to all levels of management in virtually every major type of industry. His column "Turnaround Time" appeared in Computerworld for seven years. He received his Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. |

| Dr. Nancy Long (nlong@arkansasusa.com) has coauthored a number of books with her husband. She also has been active with Larry in the development of new media educational resources. She has teaching and administrative experience at all levels of education: elementary, secondary, college, and continuing education. Nancy received a Ph.D in Reading Education and Educational Psychology, an M.S. in Personnel Services, and a B.S. in Elementary Education at the University of Oklahoma.
Married for 27 years, Nancy and Larry share many interests, including music, tennis, boating, gardening, personal computing, youth coaching (soccer,basketball, and baseball), and the PTA. Nancy continues her study of tap and modern dancing, while Larry builds things in his woodworking shop. They live in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and have two children, Troy and Brady, in elementary school. |
