Press
to select
Root which finds the x-intercept closest to the cursor.
Press
to select Intersection which finds the point
of intersection closest to the cursor.
Press
to select
slope which finds the derivative of a function at the cursor.
Press
to select area which finds the
definite integral of a function from the mark (see note) to the cursor.
Press
to select shade which shades
from the x-axis to the function, x ranging from the mark (see note)
to the cursor. If there are two or more functions, shade fills in the area between the first two.
Press
to select Extremum which finds the relative maximum
or minimum closest to the cursor.
Press
to select F(x) which evaluates the function at the cursor location.
Press
to select F ' which graphs the derivative of the function.
Press
to select Tangent Line which draws a line tangent to the curve at the cursor location.
Press
to select Next Equation which rotates the equation list, placing the first equation
at the end and bumps the rest up one, placing the second equation at the start.
Note: To set the mark move the cursor to the desired location and
press
.
If there is more than one function all opperations
such as root, slope, etc. operate on the first function in the list.
Two-function opperations, such as intersect, act on the first two. To
rotate through functions (for example, move a different function to the first position
spot) select Next Equation by pressing
in the math (fnc) menu.
