A. Tangent
In algebra and calculus, you will often need to find an equation of a tangent line to a curve at a particular point. The TI-83 will draw a tangent line and will give a good approximation of the equation of the tangent line.
Example: Find an equation of the tangent line to the function shown below at X=2.
