I. Function Keys

D. INS and DEL (insert and delete)

The insert and delete options allow you to edit an entry and re-enter it as many times as you need.

The cursor changes when the INS option is activated. The default for the TI-86 is type-over mode. When you have accessed INS, you can type any additions or corrections and then hit ENTER to evaluate.

Default: Cursor is solid.
