IV. Special Graphs

C. Graphing an Integral

The TI-86 will graph the integral of a function. You may wish to see the graph of an integral in a calculus application. However, the values of the integral may be quite large and you will need to use care in selecting a window. Also, the graphs may be generated slowly. You will need to use the fnInt function which is explained in the Using the Home Screen section. However, for these exercises you need only to know how to access the function and follow the directions for entering the data.

Example: Graph the integral of the function . Note how the integral is entered.

Enter the function
and integral.
Use TABLE to
help find a window.
Set a window.
Use the Thick option
for the integral.

A. Derivative
B. Greatest
C. Integral
D. Inverse
E. Piecewise
