C. Other Keys
The MODE menu controls how numbers and graphs are displayed. There are three pages of mode listings.
Access the Mode menu. Press Highlight the mode to be changed.
In this example, we will change from
DEGREE to RADIAN mode.
Use the right cursor to access the settings.
Use the up cursor to select RADIAN.
Press ENTER to select RADIAN mode.
Press ENTER again to SAVE the changes.
The MODE is indicated in the status line when the home screen is open.
Your calculator will display answers in a number of formats. The default setting is Pretty Print.

The Exact/Approx Mode will also determine how the answer is displayed. AUTO is the default mode because it is a combination of the other two settings. The menu is found on Page 2 of the MODE menu.
EXACT: Any expression that is not a whole number is displayed in fractional or symbolic form.
APPROXIMATE: Where possible, numeric results are displayed in decimal form.
AUTO: Uses EXACT when possible, but will switch to APPROXIMATE form if the entry contains a decimal point.
