This is an electronic exhibit about the world's dry lands. Dry lands include arid, semi-arid, and dry sub-humid areas all over the world. This exhibit emphasizes the importance these environments have in the lives of people everywhere, and the threats they face. Please choose a section of the exhibit below.

Web of Life: Exploring Biodiversity is a two-part public television special that celebrates the diversity of life on Earth. Everywhere we look, new species of life are being uncovered-new birds, plants, insects, fungi, and even beings as large as whales. We have no idea how much life there is on Earth.
