This site describes some of the research being done by Tom Cundari at the University of Memphis. His research is related to the design of new catalytic agents for methane production. This may allow methane to be used as an alternative to gasoline for motor vehicles.

Molecular Curanderos

This site describes some of the research being done by Carlos Faerman and Richard Gillilan at Cornell University and Cornell Theory Center. They are researching a molecular cure for Chagas' disease. By manipulating a vital enzyme for the parasite, they are hoping to control the disease.

Extracting energy from glucose

This is a place that explains and shows the different ways to get energy from glucose. Additional pages and diagrams explain in more detail the steps necessary to convert the molecule to raw energy.
