Chromosome Crossing-over
This is a place with a simple diagram of chromosome crossing-over during the process of forming the germ cells.
DNA Replicating Itself
This is a place where you'll find a simplified representation of a DNA molecule separating into two new molecules.

Genes
This is a place that shows a simple placement of genes on a chromosome.

Life Cycle of Yeast
This is a place that shows, via actual slides, the life cycle of yeast cells-very short, but interesting.

Meiosis
This is a place that uses a simple diagram to explain how a single cell divides to produce cells with half its number of chromosomes.

Meiosis and Mendelian Genetics
This is a place that explains the process of meiosis through text, movies, and tutorials. Although the movies take a while to download, they help tremendously in understanding the steps of meiosis.

Mitosis
This is a place that uses a diagram to simply explain the process by which cells divide and multiply.

Morgan Genetics Tutorial and Molecular Biology Quiz
This place offers two excellent resources to help you understand the discipline of genetics. You will find both comprehensive tutorial and a short quiz. This site is worth a serious visit. They are provided by the Waksman Institute at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.

Sequences of Base Pairs
This is a place that has several different maps, showing the sequencing of base pairs from a detailed level up to an all-encompassing level.

Structure of DNA
This is a place that depicts a DNA strand coming out of a cell.

The Collaboration of Proteins During Replication
This is a place that explains and shows how proteins work at the replicating fork, including a review of key terms.

Virtual Meiosis
This is a great tutorial on the process of Meiosis. There are numerous illustrations and concise descriptions. You may remember a similar site titled Virtual Mitosis also provided by the University of Cincinnati.
