Human Reproduction

    Human Development
  • During the first two months, rapid differentiation and growth occur.
  • The placenta secretes hormones and exchanges materials between mother and embryo.
  • Growth and development continue during the last seven months.
  • Milk secretion, or lactation, is stimulated by pregnancy.
  • Reproduction culminates in labor and delivery.
