>> questions with answers

  1. What is Canada’s unemployment rate?
  2. What is Canada’s inflation rate?
  3. How does this inflation rate compare to the recent past?
  4. How much has Canada’s economy grown in the recent past?

>> Summary

Sometimes it is useful to compare another country’s economy with our own. Viewing Canada’s economic information should provide some perspective on the U.S. economy. Relative to our neighbor to the north, the U.S. is doing fairly well. Our unemployment rate is lower, our economy is growing at a faster rate, and inflation is about the same. In contrast, Canada’s debt is quite a bit lower than the U.S., but comparisons of this nature are difficult due to the size of the two economies. Compare some other economic data between the two countries as you continue to peruse this website.
