Exponents

Exponents are entered using the key. For example, is entered as 5^3. For exponents base e, press (located above the LN key). To compute , press , then enter , then press .

Note that the keyboard contains special keys for . Further, the math menu contains some special exponent keys. Press MATH to access the math menu. Items 3, 4 and 5 are special exponent keys. Item 3 cubes an entry, item 4 takes the cube root of an entry, and item 4 takes the specified root of an entry.
