Equation Editor

To graph a function, the equation must be entered into the calculator. Pressing 
brings up a window where ten equations may be entered. Though only eight equations will show on the screen, scrolling using the cursor keys reveals the other two equations.



An equation is deleted using the cursor to select the unwanted equation and pressing .

Note: Press  to type the variable x.
Press  to type a leading negative sign.
Press  to type a subtraction symbol.

Any character in an equation can be deleted. Highlight the character and press .

A character can be inserted in an equation. Highlight the entry after which a character is to be inserted. Press  . The character is inserted in front of the highlighted character.
