Animations - Because graphical concepts are often difficult to grasp on a static page, we have developed animations to bring them to life. This site features animations of concepts that appear in each of the three Giesecke texts. Use these aids to help improve your ability to think in three dimensions.

Modern Graphics Communication, 1/e
We have created several animations illustrating concepts highlighted by this text's CD icon. These animations were reated in Strata Studio Pro and Macromedia Director, and are available for downloading in several formats. Animations are also available on a CD available to instructors.

Technical Drawing, 10/e and Engineering Graphics, 6/e
Scott Mackenzie of Montana State University - Northern has developed animations based on Giesecke's two core titles. Using 3-D Studio, Mackenzie has developed twenty tutorial animations to help students and professors visualize difficult concepts.

The two versions you can download are medium-sized Quicktime animations, and full-screen FLC animation files. To view the FLC animations you should have the Autodesk® Animation Player.
