About the Authors

Kenneth C. Laudon is Professor of Information Systems at the Stern School of Business at New York University where he teaches courses on Electronic Commerce, Managing the Digital Firm, Management Information Systems, Information Technology and Corporate Strategy, Professional Responsibility, and Organizational Theory and Information Systems. He has written 12 books and 35 articles on topics related to his courses.

Dr. Laudon is also the founder of Azimuth Interactive Inc., a leading developer and marketer of e-learning materials for the higher education and corporate training marketspace (www.azimuth-interactive.com). He brings over five years of e-commerce executive experience in technology platform, Web site design, marketing, infrastructure, business process design, and strategy areas to this book.



Carol G. Traver is General Counsel and Vice President of Business Development at Azimuth Interactive Inc. A graduate of Yale Law School, Carol has co-authored several books on information technology, society, and business. As an executive at Azimuth, Carol brings more than five years of e-commerce experience in legal, business development, and strategy areas to this book.
