Services

For programs interested in obtaining a site license, you may also be interested in the following services provided by CTE.  These services are not available with individual access code purchases.

CTE offers a variety of wrap-around services to help ensure successful implementation of any organization's Digital Portfolio (DP), including:

  • Consulting
  • Needs Assessment
  • Training
  • Implementation
  • Evaluation

Prior to implementation, CTE conducts interviews, surveys, and mission-setting discussions with program coordinators and a cross section of potential users. These interviews and surveys are analyzed to establish a clear plan for implementation and sustainability of the Digital Portfolio.

Employing both face-to-face training sessions and online tutorials, our staff helps DP users learn to effectively use the tools and functions of the application. A train-the-trainer model ensures that training eventually becomes site-based. Whenever necessary, CTE conducts additional training through online course modules integrated into existing curriculum or inservice training programs. Training also includes an examination of user protocols and expectations as determined by project directors and program coordinators.

Once an DP is up and running within a preservice assessment program or as part of an inservice professional development program, CTE works with partners and portfolio users to develop a formula for sustainability of the Electronic Portfolio application.
