What's happening to the ProMgmt. Program?

Effective February 2nd, 2006, the ProMgmt. Program was discontinued.

The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation will continue to process ProMgmt. examinations and certificates for ProMgmt. workbooks with exams purchased on or before February 1, 2006.

Why was the ProMgmt. Program being discontinued?

The desire for a competency-based program defined by industry was expressed by academics and industry alike. The NRAEF listened carefully, and devoted substantial time, effort and resources to create the new NRAEF ManageFirst Program^®.

What will happen if I already have ProMgmt. workbooks or exams?

The NRAEF will process ProMgmt. exams and certificates for workbooks purchased on or prior to Feb. 1, 2006.

I’ve already distributed or earned ProMgmt. certificates. Will I have to start all over if I administer or take NRAEF ManageFirst exams?

No! The NRAEF is developing a plan to allow ProMgmt. certificate holders to earn a credential using NRAEF ManageFirst materials. For more information contact (312) 715-6746.
