- The
book I purchased says there are files available on an FTP site. I
can't find them.
First, note that we use the terms FTP and Download Library synonymously.
You may either visit the FTP site directly using a standard FTP client,
or you may visit the FTP site from the Web using any Web browser.
- The
address for persons using an FTP client is: ftp.prenhall.com/pub.
- Our
download library is organized by publishing division, and under
these headings, by editorial series. Files for a particular book
appear by author last name. Formally, this looks like:
/pub/division_abbrev/series_name.series_code/author_last_name
A
key to abbreviations for our divisions:
- be
-- Business Publishing
- ect
-- Education, Careers and Technology
- hss
-- Humanities and Social Science
- esm
-- Engineering, Science, Math, and Computer Science
- ptr
-- Professional Reference Titles (mostly higher level computer
science and engineering books)
