MyNursingLab's pre-test with NCLEX-style questions lets students test themselves on their understanding of key concepts and skills. Based on a student's results on the pre-test, MyNursingLab creates a personalized and guided learning path that helps the student move beyond recall to actual application.
REVIEW:
MyNursingLab's guided learning path provides students with eText pages and lecture Power Point slides that summarize key content that the student needs to review. Each chapter also includes a "Knowledge Quick Check Chapter Review" that quickly lets students test their knowledge of chapter vocabulary and key concepts.
REMEMBER:
The personalized study plan then provides animations, videos and activities that help students put content into context to help students remember key concepts with which they may have struggled in the pre-test.
APPLY:
MyNursingLab's personalized study plan includes application activities like patient-care scenarios that help students strengthen clinical competency by providing them with a clinical scenario to actually apply what they have just learned.
Even More Alternate-item Format Questions
New, alternate item format questions in MyNursingLab allow students to get practice with even more of the question types that they will see on the NCLEX. Question types include: multiple response, fill in the blank, drag-and-drop, hot spot and graphic questions, among others.

Most MyNursingLab titles are available with the interactive Pearson eText which allows highlighting, searching, note taking and sharing between instructors and their students as well as links to media and animations. Access to MyNursingLab with Pearson eText automatically allows access to both the online eText as well as the eText on the iPad and/or iPhone via the Pearson eText app.
Gradebook and Advanced Reporting:
MyNursingLab's gradebook allows instructors to manage all of the course grades in one place. Instructors can import/export from popular learning management systems, manipulate and modify individual student grades, and calculate final grades. With MyNursingLab's advanced reporting capabilities instructors can run a number of activity reports for single or multiple students, assignments, and sections. Additional reports include frequency analysis reports, Study Plan reports, and certificates of completion. All reports can be customized, exported, and saved to the My Reports section for easy access.
