Designed by teachers for teachers, PRS provides a simple interface that allows maximum flexibility for instructors to get instant in-class feedback, analyze results, and save course data. The PRS “clicker” is easy to use and cost-effective: It is a one-time student purchase which can be used for as many courses over as many semesters as needed, with no additional cost or registration fees.
Security and confidentiality.
PRS has two modes of operation. The “Known” mode in which all ID-tagged responses are recorded and the “Anonymous” mode in which only the statistics are kept. Either way, students know when their answer has been received by the system once the display box with their ID changes color.
Ability to indicate confidence level.
PRS gives students the option to indicate how confident they are with their answers with a Confidence Level indicators (High, Medium and Low). This will allows instructors to more accurately assess your students’ comprehension of the material presented.
Options for numeric answer input.
The ten-digit transmitter provides maximum flexibility for intuitive numeric answer input.
Scalability.
PRS is easily scalable to accommodate both small and large sections. In class, you can show anywhere between 20 and 300 student response boxes at a time, displaying either a student ID or name. Additional receivers can be installed in lecture halls to accommodate growing course enrollments and the software is site-licensed for as many school and home computers needed to teach the course.
Ease of use.
Just plug in the receiver and start up the EduCue PRS software. The software provides a simple interface that allows maximum flexibility for you to teach in the manner you choose. Students gain familiarity with its operations in minutes, freeing them to concentrate on learning without distraction.
