  • Author Bio

    Noel Enete draws on fourteen years of experience as a software developer and educator to offer readers this highly accessible introduction to JAVA. In addition to his teaching post at the University of California at Irvine, Enete works as an independent contractor and is currently building a real-time sound server for a compression technology company located in southern California. Enete also has extensive experience in the development of large PC/Mainframe systems for TRW Consumer Information Systems, and developed Object-Oriented Software for ParcPlace-Digitalk, the manufacturers of Smalltalk. At the time of printing, Mr. Enete is a candidate in a doctoral program focusing on Computer-Aided Instruction. In conjunction with his studies, he has built a WebSchool that delivers programmed instruction to learners over the Internet.
