Get a head start on the programming pack and supercharge your Web pages with HTML 4.0. Get up to speed quickly with HTML and learn the new features that HTML 4.0 provides. Pappas and Murray take you step-by-step through the creation of simple but complete HTML code as each new topic is introduced. Early chapters start with topics and examples revolving around traditional HTML tags such as <HTML>, <HEAD>, <TITLE>, <BASE>, <LINK>, <STYLE>, <SCRIPT>, <META>, and more. In addition to a discussion on various tags and containers you'll learn how to format text and include graphics, links, tables, forms, animation, and more in your projects. More advanced topics include frames, scripting, cascading style sheets, layers, and Dynamic HTML. You'll also be introduced to CGI, JavaScript, and VBScript programming concepts.
