This software is a guided tour of the Atlas desktop geographic information system (GIS) mapping package. The mapping form of presentation helps retail decision makers see key location patterns and resolve questions relative to trading-area analysis, as well as to site selection and evaluation.
Directions to Run Atlas
The program will generate and install into a folder on your hard drive called C:\ATLAS. Go to that folder and then double click on the DEMO file to open the program.
The first part of the software is a self-paced guided tour of the Atlas desktop program. You can quit the first part of the program at any time by pressing the [Esc] key.
The second part of the software enables you to select from among various tours of the Atlas program by pointing to the Select box at the left of each tour and then clicking the left mouse key. The tours are:
You can return to the Main Menu, Pause the program, or Continue any frame by pointing to and then clicking the appropriate option with the left mouse key. To exit this software, return to the Main Menu, and then choose the Exit option.
