Exercise is one of the best things you can do for yourself in college. It will increase your metabolism, resulting in a sense of well-being and motivation. Exercise is something you can do in a group; it provides the perfect social setting for college students to interact in a fun way. Finding your niche in college may include the group you choose to spend time with: jocks, polo players, competitive joggers, or high-speed walkers.

You don't have to spend a lot of money to exercise. You don't have to join a group. You don't have to have special skills, or pass special tests. This is something you can do on your own, and it is important enough to be a required activity in college, at least for two semesters.

Make this part of your life FUN. Exercise should not be a chore! There are so many opportunities to meet you goal of daily exercise and gain real enjoyment at the same time. Your physical health is directly proportional to your mental performance; since school is your job, you should be at your best to do well. Is there a physical skill (such as horseback riding or rugby) that you have always wanted to learn? College provides these opportunities to you now - take advantage of it!!
