  • Make aerobic exercise part of your daily routine. Walk or bike to class instead of driving (you'll avoid the parking problem as a bonus).

  • Take physical education courses that you think you might enjoy. Use this required class as an opportunity to learn a physical activity that will carry you through the rest of your life (like tennis or swimming).

  • Taking a walk does more than help keep you physically fit. It "clears your head" after studying or taking a test. It is also an opportunity to spend time with a friend, catching up on the day.

  • Exercise burns calories even after your workout, because your metabolism has been raised.

  • Join an intramural team, such as Ultimate Frisbee, or Soccer. This is the best way to meet people, have fun and get the right amount of exercise. Just do it.
