Chris Johnson is originally from Bethesda, Maryland, and attended the University of Richmond. He graduated in 4 years with a degree in Accounting. His interests include playing basketball, lifting, and reading science fiction books. At Richmond he was active in the fraternity of Sigma Alpha Epsilon in addition to being a member of the Accounting and Business Society. He currently works in the Information Resources at the Internal Audit department for Marriott International. His main duties are assessing corporate computing resources and attesting to compliance to corporate policies. He specializes in operational and financial audit. In the near future he hopes to be in a position where he is working in information systems audit. For now he is very content with his position at Marriott. He chose Richmond because he enjoyed his visit to the school, and liked the small class sizes and attention that professors gave to their students. Upon his arrival there, he found it hard to adjust to the intensity level and focused attitude that a college atmosphere required. However, he did not have too much trouble adjusting to the newfound freedom because he attended a liberal high school. His favorite professor during his four years was Dr. Eylon who he credited as being one of the few professors that really challenged him. His best advice to high school students that are currently preparing to enter college is that attitude is very important and can go a long way in determining how fulfilling one's college experience will be.
