There's no better altruistic feeling than giving your time and talents to a worthwhile cause and gaining valuable experience in the process. College students are highly courted for volunteer excursions here and abroad. You can start your journey by browsing these Web sites:
Break away from the routine party circuit. By working as a community-service specialist, you will get up, close and personal with such issues as literacy, poverty, racism, hunger, homelessness and the environment. Sign up to be an agent of change and you'll find these Spring Break "alternatives" to be enriching and rewarding experiences.
