SCORING: Give yourself one point for every question that you answered "YES."

0 to 5 Points: You are very safety aware. Keep up the good work, and chances are that you will not become a victim of crime. Always use your common sense as your best defense.

5 to 10 Points: You are aware of your personal safety, but you need to do a better job. You have the potential of becoming a victim of a crime. You are your best defense to minimize your chances of becoming a crime victim.

10 to 15 Points: You are a walking time bomb, and you need to become more aware of your environment. Most crime victims don't ask to become victims, that just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Keep to well lit paths at night or bring someone with you if you need to go out after dark.
