  • Go to class prepared to focus attention on the lecture

  • Go to class prepared with all materials accessible so can focus on lecture

  • Go to class early to get the best seat, (front and center), and have all materials ready, (notebook, pen, etc.) when lecture begins

  • Be prepared to listen attentively

  • Push all thoughts not pertaining to the course out of your mind, before going into the classroom

  • Be prepared physically, mentally, and emotionally

  • Have a desired goal when going into the lecture--excellent notes
