  • Make sure you have a complete set of notes before beginning to study for an exam.

  • Make a time plan - identify what exactly you're going to study, how you're going to study

  • Plan to finished studying 3 days in advanced before major exams and at least 24 hours before a minor exam.

  • Take advantage of review classes - go with questions you might have.

  • Find out what the test format is going to be.

  • Plan to be finished reviewing far enough ahead of time that if you have questions you can find out the answers or get clarifications from your professor.

  • Don't procrastinate - It'll only stress you out and sabotage your efforts.

  • Make a commitment to yourself as a successful student.
